Blenko 729 Wheat Pitcher John Nickerson 1972 Mid Century Modern One Year Design

A particularly interesting piece of early 1970s Blenko, this #729 pitcher was designed by John Nickerson and produced for just one year in 1972. The warm Wheat glass works especially well with the tall, slightly irregular form, oversized handle, and wonderfully exaggerated pouring spout. At just over 12 inches tall, it has the generous scale that makes vintage Blenko so recognizable.  Measurements: • Height: 12.5 • Base Diameter: 5.5  Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is one small scratch near the handle along with light surface wear consistent with age and use. Small bubbles and subtle variations from the handmade process are present.
